My Baseball History

My Baseball History is a long form interview podcast. Each episode, host Dan Wallach talks to someone new who has some sort of association to the game of baseball.

The guest could be a current or former player, manager, executive, or broadcaster. They could be a photographer, a journalist, an author, or historian. It could even be a coach, a collector, a clubhouse attendant, or the curator of a museum.

Everyone sees the players on the field, but there are so many different people who make baseball what it is. Dan wants to talk to them all.

No matter who Dan talks to, they’ll talk about how the guest fell in love with baseball, how their career started, and how they got to be where they are today.

Renowned baseball artist Gary Cieradkowski made the artwork for the show. If you’ll pardon the pun, he knocked it out of the park. If you’d like to read about what it was like to create the artwork from Gary’s perspective, he wrote about it HERE.

Check out the slideshow below of the references Dan originally sent Gary, which Gary somehow turned into the masterpiece above.

Music

Ryan Starinsky made the opening theme song, as well as the acoustic rendition of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” you hear at the conclusion of every episode.

Randy Moore took one of his bands’ songs called “Kingpin” and made a baseball organ version for the show. Segments of that recording are used throughout each episode.
